UNACCOMPANIED MINOR
Summer season will begin soon and with it an increase in the number of children traveling alone. Please remember:

  • The UM policy applies to children 8 to 11 years old, only on routings with one non-stop flight per direction, operated by Air Canada or Air Canada Jazz™.
  • The price of a meal or hot snack is included in the unaccompanied service fee of $100 per child, per segment.
  • The seat fee for Tango fares is waived for unaccompanied minors.
  • Unaccompanied children are required to carry identification as follows:
    • Travel in Canada: Birth certificate, health card, government-issued identification, or passport
    • All other destinations: Passport
